Hope you feel better, Sylvia.
And I hope the pain you feel now pays off in good health this winter.
Thanks, nvr.
You've been keeping a low profile, my brother.
Good to hear from you.

If you can take ibuprofen (advil) it's an anti-inflammatory, and helps with the pain.
Watch out for the fevers and the chills, they will follow. I'll never get a flu shot again!

Thank you darlin' Clipsey; I'm so crazy that I can hardly take anything without becoming crazier.

You're still young, Sweetface. I'm at the age where it's strongly advised to get one.

You raise an interesting point, sweetface.
One cannot get the flu from the flu vaccine, but the reaction you describe has been experienced by many.
I believe it may have something to do with what is known as Guillain-Barré syndrome.
It's weird. I've gotten the flu shot twice in my life and both times I spent the weekend in bed feeling icky, w/ a low-grade fever and aches. Maybe my immune system is less tolerant than others. Hmmm...guess I should eat more veggies and less slim jims...hee hee.
I hope you feel better soon Sylvia.

I had the flu jab last friday and i felt really tired and had cold like symptoms all week, and my arm hurt too, which doesnt usually happen.
I hope you feel better soon Sylvia.
Thanks, O Newly-Pierced One.
