sylvia, My flu shot hurt worse on the 2nd day. I woke up, several times during the night, rolling over on that arm. 3rd day, small bruise feeling. Hopefully yours will be fine by tonight. Keep moving, and Please take an ibuprofen. It is for inflammation, and that is what you have.

I have not had a flu shot for over twenty years and will never get one. They contain mercury which is neurotoxic and accumulates in our bodies. There is also research showing a link to Alzheimers from five or more consecutive flu shots.

I get a flu shot every year and have never had a reaction. We get them at work. They say we shouldn't have one if:
- We're allergic to eggs.
- We've had cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 2 weeks.

I had my flu shot a couple of weeks ago....and my arm throbbed for two days. This is the first time I had this happen---this badly. It is my fourth year of getting a flu shot. Hubby got one at the same time and never felt a thing afterwards (and he would be sure and let me know if he HAD )
I wonder what the difference WAS?

The last time i had the flu, i started taking some swedish bitters every day. Flu symptoms stopped the next day. I kept taking the stuff for a week or so. It tasted like sh##, so i mixed in a bit of sugar and added some water. It did give me a little booze buzz.
I just made a batch of my own, and have been taking it for about two weeks. Will see how it works as a preventative. No sore arms, iether.

I won't get flu shots anymore, they always make me sick.
I will take my chances on getting the flu.
