What has taken place in these past 7 years makes me feel ill sometimes when I think about it. Dems like Hillary even were caught up in the smell of war and the spin.

I still wonder why they wanted it so badly. Control over oil makes the most sense I guess.

Accurate evidence was available before 2003 that Iraq's nuclear program had ended in 1992.

As far as Iraq trying to make centrifuges from aluminum tubes, this was pure speculation on the part of an individual in the CIA, who later received a financial bonus for this so-called "research".

The facts were deliberately and purposefully ignored. New "facts" were created in order to state that America was in imminent danger of being attacked by Saddam. The only conclusion one can make is that Bush already had made the decision to invade Iraq, and he only required a justification to do so.

PS - By the way if you get a chance read some on Bush's former speech writer. He's been pretty successful at getting Americans to quake in fear every day with phrases like 'mushroom cloud', ' weapons of mass destruction', 'the homeland', 'axis of evil', war on terror', 'regime'...

The Iraq National Oil Company would have exclusive control of just 17 of Iraq’s 80 known oil fields, leaving two-thirds of known—and all of its as yet undiscovered—fields open to foreign control,” Juhasz wrote. “The foreign companies would not have to invest their earnings in the Iraqi economy, partner with Iraqi companies, hire Iraqi workers or share new technologies. . . The international oil companies could also be offered some of the most corporate-friendly contracts in the world.”

Not surprisingly, the Iraqi people don’t want their oil privatized. They’ve been resisting this move in parliament, and in

None of what would have happened? Iraq War 2 Baghdad had nothing to do with 911. I agree - I never said it did We charged in there anyway. What is happening over there is our fault. I agree that is why we should have gone right thorugh to Baghdad in Gulf War 1 then none of this would have happened
