Minimus said "I can't see how a truly intelligent person could accept this crap from the WT. I am referring to people who simply believe EVERYTHING the WT. says"

minimus, can you remember how you used to think when you were a believer in this? You used to think the same way. It simple shows the power of these cult religions how they can deceive normal people.

I have asked this same question before and got no answers. Why are JW's meat eaters when they are told not to eat blood? ANY logical answer would be apreciated.

I never believed EVERYTHING. When I was a child, at 9, when I got baptized, I did but as time went on, I started to see how certain things couldn't be correct.

I don't think it's logical to disfellowship victims of felony sexual child abuse or their family members for reporting elders and ministerial servants who commit these actions to legal authorities and the police. And yet that has happened in the witness organization , and probably is still happening in the organization. Yes, as you say they should be embarrassed ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

If you publicly state that you do not accept EVERYTHING from the FDS, you will be disfellowshipped since the FDS is considered "God's channel". If you expose a point that you can prove is scripturally untrue, even if there is 100% merit in your point, you will be d'fd because you did not "wait on Jehovah" (the FDS) for them to reveal the "new light". How effed up is that????

minimus i never believed everything either. those who do scare me. there are some witnesses i knew(one of them my ex best friend of 7 years) that i would never be friends with again outside of the org. It's as if they would absolutely do anything for the org, no matter what.

i know there is a cult mentality but there is the person you are deep inside and i feel some use the excuse of the organization to do some evil things to others.

what do you want from people who are told that when they die there is nothing left of them, nada, zilch, goose eggs... and yet God will raise "them" up in the end.... some here have yet to see this. if all you are in the end is data in the mind of God, then it aint you when that data is remade, its a clone, a dopple ganger...a copy. slave your life away now, so that a copy of you can enjoy paradise in your place (^_^).

Witnesses say that ex-JW’s tell apostate lies when making any statement against the Watchtower.

Witnesses say that all other religions are “false religion” and they are also liars.

If all the other religions are wrong, then are all the other religion’s apostates right when disagreeing with them?

Are the witnesses agreeing with apostates?

Are all “ex-members” of any religion “apostate liars”? Or, just ex-members of the Watchtower religion?

I would love see one of the current JW’s who frequent this board wrap their little minds around this one.

How’s that for a little logic Min?
I posted on one of your goofy threads. Now you owe me a nickel.

I recently asked this question to my Mom,

From my Mom- I am not going to argue over words and interpretations.....if they are wrong....they will be corrected.....until then I will listen to the ones I believe Jehovah and Jesus are using today.

    My repsonse-

Wow, how do you preach to people and sleep at night using this logic? I know I am being a bit dramatic, but how can you ask someone to go over their faith with a fine tooth comb and JUDGE IT FOR IT'S IMPERFECTIONS, then expect someone to ASSUME GOD WILL FIX YOUR RELIGION. That is hypocrisy in it's simplest form. YOUR CLEARLY GOING AGAINST JESUS GOLDEN RULE. This is the exact reasoning religions that you claim are false teach. You know early Christians used the same logic you did. Paul said people were listening to "super fine" apostles. These men were "sent by Jesus and Jehovah". That didn't mean it was OK to listen to them. Again you offer no biblical proof that if you see someone in a position of "power" you should follow them.

Most if not all people are like zombies walking around in a trance. The witnesses are illogical. The people that believe in politicians are illogical. People are quirky. No ones got it all together. I think people that believe in anything but themselves are illogical. And theres a lot of people that think that people who believe in themselves are illogical.

I dont think anyone is smart enough to figure out whats going on. Were all like dogs. Smart enough to wag our tales but not smart enough to see the big picture.

    I'm embarrassed I wrote this.
