Stupid Idiots at the meeting

  This is another in the many ways dubs are fed b.s. they take a cliche - rich people are miserable - and apply it as balm to those who have little or nothing. The implied message is, "but YOU have The Truth and that's more valuable than money!"

  I know many wealthy people, a handful of them quite well. They do not appear to be unhappy to me. Do they have the same problems the rest of us do? Sure. Are their lives tragedy-free? No. But, from what I've seen, having money makes life's problems much easier to cope with. The dubs ignore the bible principle: Money is a protection.

  The Devil controls the Watchtower therefore it's a lie.We know it to be a lie, full of errors ,false promises,misleading statements,bad advice,causes death etc.therefore it's of the Devil.

  Some comments at meetings are just plain silly, some are hypocritical or downright ignorant. But the most chilling ones I remember were from the little kids. A particularly disturbing comment I heard one time was by a little girl. Didn't know who they were...just a visiting couple. But the WT meeting was about proclaiming our faith (or some kinda s$%t like that) The lady held her little girl, maybe 3 or 4, close to the mike and she said, "I would die for Jehovah". I was just a kid myself, but that sent a chill down my spine.

  Peer pressure, people are prone to make comments that even though they might not truly believe in it, will state something just to be popular and agreeable to the listeners. Many want to feel loved and wanted no matter the cost. people have been making stupid comments for milleniums, it wont stop on its own.

  well.im certainly not poor,but am happy as a lark!!!!i have a terrific life,great hair,cool friends,healthy,yadayadayada..my dad says that its cause hohoba sees promise in me,and is still hoping that ill return to the flock.so he continues to hail me w/multiple blessings..yeah,right...it couldnt be that i am smart and have made some very wise choices on my own or anything like that,could it?

  movies always portray rich people as happy and successful, so that's proof that Satan controls the film industry because it's a lie.

  This reminds me of when they changed the food arangments some years ago, went from buying food on site to you bringing your own. When asked what kind of food you should bring to eat, one sister raised her hand and said "we can go without eating for the assembly" the conductor was hypogly. and said, maybe you can but I can not.

  They remind me of those idiots who beat themselvs and try to become mayrters. Sick little puppys.

  Geesh, what some people will say to get noticed at the KH. Just raise your hand and say something stupid. I wonder how many times he heard, "Brother, I enjoyed your comment".
