Hello Everyone, No, Dagneys elder friend does not have a crush on her. I know them both and I am here to set you straight. She asked me to offer my word on that. He is one big handsome complex fellow. He loves women with brains and Dagney has that. He is married to a lovely lady and they are very devoted. She and Dagney are close friends also. But he needs to hash out issues and Dagney is the kind of friend who listens and offers comments to lead you to a resolve.
I do belive he thinks of her everyday just as I think of her everyday. I understand his attachment because I would want her to live forever also.....that is if I believed in living forever. We often joke about the Red Light on top her head because she just draws people to her. Men are attached to her yes, my husband thinks of her everyday also and I'm not worried. I love that she can get him to open up and talk about feelings. Something I do not have a talent for.
I also understand her emotional reaction to his question about her meeting attendance. Her relationships with friends are very valuable to her. She does not wish to jepordise the bond they have. He can be stern and puts her on the spot and I know she would not react well. She could fear a backlash of cross words even. I do not think he would 'turn her in' that is not his style. But he could make her uncomfortable
Dagney and I have been best friends for many years and we each came to realise the Truth about the Troof from different perspectives yet right around the same time. It is not our wish to convert JW's into our view of the organization. We only hope others will come to the Truth about the Troof in their own way and time.
