Ppppphhh, the WT website looks like it was designed by Stevie Wonder.

    ROTFLMAO

Though, I've seen it a lot worse: http://www.arngren.net/ (Norwegian Online Gadget Store)

The Watchtower site I find extremely boring! Even the «online games/quizzes» are boring.

    Welcome to the forum

i should'nt read the forums because people's opinions on there are misguided and they dont know what their talking about.

That type of comment is the key to mind control. It is how fundamentalist Muslim states keep their people uneducated, how Communism managed to survive for so long, and how cults are able to get away with teaching strange untruths.

A far more intelligent way to approach life is to learn to do an educated evaluation of information. Read all sides of a story, and then learn to determine the fallacies of an argument, to check sources and to confirm details. That applies to every area of life. It does not matter whether you are examining religion, reading an article on health or making a purchase.

Welcome, cooler. Please take the time to make up your own mind about what to look at and read - it's important to get as many viewpoints as you can about a subject before making a commitment.

It's easy to dress things up so that they "look" truthful. We all need to read a little more deeply than that...personally, I get a little suspicious when something looks too slick...

Now THAT was funny! I have to agree, the comic-book style that applies to most of what is published by the WT, including that website, is just pedantic. I remember similar things coming out of the fundamentalist churches back in the 60's. Not impressive then, even less today. I have to say that reading about Bethel and all on Randy's site was MOST informative and incredibly funny when it came to the folks working the floor. Now I see what those poor folks were up against. WOW..... you mean we ACTUALLY will be able to print with four (4) whole colors? ROFL! The website looks like they just discovered that they can go beyond 8 bit color, although that may be debatable. Sorry Randy, that stuff about the printing presses (if you read this) was utterly hilarious. I loved everything you posted on your site.

The fundamental psychology of all JWs is to convince you to think for yourself until you get to the point that you agree with them that you shouldn't - then you're ready for baptism. Nothing to do with God really - He's just a catalyst in order to impose upon you a regime. Otherwise you would be encouraged to continue to think freely and explore your spirituality. And God will still be there for those who leave. He aint goin nowhere ( and I know that's a double negative but you'll know how that feels)

In my Opinion, the Watchtower Website is what it appears to be; a slick Marketing Tool.

These tools are always prettier than the actual Product.

    Welcome Cooler,

The Watchtower wants you to believe that you can only have a relationship with God through them. Nothing could be further from the truth.
