What makes people OBSESSED with the Devil? From the beginning of time, it's all about the Devil and being petrified .
Some people consider Satan to be a metaphor for rebellion against all that would seek to enslave us.
The devil is also utilized and manipulated by religious folks like the jws to give cause and explanation for all the bad things they do
therefore they never have to take responsibility directly for their actions or the harm they may cause to others.
In a practical sense the Devil is therefore quite the valued and cherished commodity.
Not to forget the redeeming and forgiving Christ which they stick so closely to.......religion is a good thing isn't
In examing peoples belief systems, a lot of folks feel Satins the other side of the coin from God.
Some folks even say hes the good side.
Some folks say you cant have god without the debil. You cant understand god without the debil.
You dont appreciate all the good about satin without experiencing the synister evil side of Jehober.

Growing up in that strange world, i never understood why we were supposed to be always on the watch against demonic activity but that angels never figured into our lives. It was as if we deserved to be set upon by demons and not worthy of being helped by angels.
