Thanks for your touching replies . My wife and I sat here reading them tearing up again. In a good way though . It is so nice to have good real friends like you fine people !

WAC- Thanks bro, a good feeling !

NINJA- Thanks bud. I can't believe you're being serious for once !

95 STORMFRONT- I'm sure my son's responses took his mother by surprise . Indeed he stood up for what he believes in !

DINAH- He is a wonderful young man. I admire him too ! Maybe someday in a loving way you can talk with your mom about the witnesses .

KNOCK KNOCK- He does look to the future . He hopes his mom gets out of the cult some day .

HELNCON- I am proud of him. Great guy ! Tears of joy, I'd say ! Me too !

SWEET PEA- Kind words from you, thanks. He even looks like me so I've been told ! ( He's a bit better looking though ! ) Notice I said only a bit ! LOL!

JUSTITIA THEMIS- Kind words from you, thanks !

HOMEROVAH the ALMIGHTY- No offense taken Homerovah . I've thought for years that my ex has been mind controlled by this cult to the maximum also ! My son is a great person to be around, fun and smart !

MADDIE- He is a great young man who makes me very proud !

MOMZCRAZY- Thanks for the kindness ! He is a smart young man. It is sad, I agree that the young 14 year old boy had to die- for what ? A lie. Sick religion.

DAWG- Thanks so much Dawg. Your response really made Mrs. Flipper and I cry, in a good way though ! We were really touched, thanks. We love you too bro! I know what a challenge and hard exit you had out of the cult , so I know you understand what courage it took my son to speak up to his mom . My son does see the good and light in others. Maybe some day you'll meet him ! Peace bro.

PEC- Thanks Phillip. You don't know how much it means to me to hear those kind words !

EX-NJ-JW- Thanks, NJ appreciate it ! Thanks all of you, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

I wonder if it would ever come to this sort of discourse between my mother and I.

Not at all surprising, knowing his dad, but inspiring nonetheless.

MINCAN- I feel you and your mom will have this kind of conversation someday Mincan. If you approach it from a positive aspect , you might just hit a resonant chord with her. Keep trying buddy. Don't give up. Something just might click in her that causes her to doubt the cult . I talked with a former witness today who got his whole family out by using the methods in the book, " Combatting Cult Mind Control". One thing he told me was ask small little insignificant questions that address a small doubt or grievance your relative already has with the organization, and take it from there asking leading questions about it. Also if you are sitting physically in your relatives presence, sit beside them not right in front of them when talking to them. At a side angle the body language is less confrontational, when sitting right in front of them looking straight at them, they are more apt to reject your message because of feeling the directness of the connection . Just some interesting thoughts this former witness told me. Peace bro.

NVR- Hey, buddy thanks dude. . Yeah, I got pretty emotional writing about the incident , and seeing my young man grow before my eyes. It is a trip ! You know how it feels with a son of your own ! Peace out bro, your bud, Mr. Flipper

"Promise me you won't drink the punch."

LOL! I like that. My mother just got back from Bethel last month. Before she left, I wanted to tell her, "Don't drink the kool-aid!"

What an excellent witness to his mom.

Your son told the truth in such a loving and tactful manner.

RONIN 1- Yes, I was impressed by his tactfulness and respect . We will see if she writes back and gives him the same respect he gave her. I think the jury is still out on that happening
