Would you give your life for a JWD poster ?

    Would anyone here give their life for me ?

    I'm saying this because the JW's always told me that they would give their lives for any brother or sister......can you feel the love..

    So, I was wondering if we have just as much love on JWD.

    nah.if i did, with my luck, it'd end up being for someone like Linda...

    however, if we were walking on a sidewalk and a bus was heading for us jh..i'd push you out of the way as i jumped over you to get myself outta the way. that help?

    Was it you that asked one time if we loved someone enough to give our life for them?

    I said it wasn't really a valid question, because I would do my best to save another
    human being, even if I didn't know him/her. If I could save someone else, I would give
    my life for a stranger. Many others answered similarly if I recall.

    So, yes. If I knew it could save you, I would give my life for JH.

    Well, what I heard at the hall was just as ambiguous....so I guess it wasn't serious.

    So, yes. If I knew it could save you, I would give my life for JH.

    Wow, I didn't expect that...

    I would save people like by giving blood, but I wouldn't lose my life to save someone.

    People speak of "giving their lives" to something all the time. It doesn't necessarily mean death. If I had something to "devote" my life to that would be beneficial for others, I would seriously consider doing it, if I believed in the cause. Now, this may sound trite or overused or corny, but I sincerely believe that you can't truly live for yourself until you've lived for others. We're all part of a communal society.
