Depends on how much morphine is running through my veins, usually I'm able to keep my balance though.

Yes as long as I get good service I tip at least 20% or more. I used to waitress and it's hard work and low pay usually minimum wage so you really need those tips!
absolute minimum 15% -just tipped 25% tonight

Ditto that. Waitressing is not an easy job, you have to smile and act friendly, regardless of how rude or nasty the customers can be. You get blamed and are the frontline for the kitchen's screwups. So, yup, I tip well for good service, they deserve it!!
I'm a pretty good tipper. I was a waitress before so I know what it's like.
Same here unless I get really bad service then I only leave the minimum. But if I get a great server I tip very well- I remember what it was like waiting tables for hours, an aching back and feet and getting gypped in the tip department .
At most restaurants the servers don't make anywhere near minimum wage- the company expects them to make their cash mostly in tips-
I'll tip well when I go out, but going out to eat is rare. Most restaurant food wreaks havoc with my stomach, so I prefer to cook at home.

Barbie Doll and I usually split a meal; so, we start with 30%, do things right I add to it, do things wrong I take away. We have tipped $5 on a $6 bill. The places we frequent bend over backward for us. We live in an area that is mostly minority and many places just have crappy service. I don't know if it is; because, minorities tip poorly or they just are more willing accept poor service. Either way, we am not going to accept poor service.
