I tossed my King Crimson collection after being lectured by a roommate. I'm still mad because its hard to find.
Your Cong = Which Songs or Band were "Demonic?" Did you toss albums?

I remember being told a few years back that Ramstein were bad and that they sung about debil worship.
I asked the brother if he spoke German; suprise suprise he didn't!
Just he'd 'heard'. I said I'd look into it.
Went home and downloaded even more of the stuff! Ramstein rock! Shell69

When I was studying, my conductor gave me a whole list of bands that the extended family had banned (and by the extended family, I mean his brothers and cousins--who were so dedicated to possessing me as one of them. Among this list are Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Blue Oyster Cult, Journey, Simon and Garfunkel, and Van Halen. All those who he studied with (which was a mini congregation/cult in of itself) were told to get rid of all those albums.
At the time, I went along with the Led Zeppelin (I only had the Houses of the Holy album) and the Van Halen. I did not have any AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, or Simon and Garfunkel at that time (but I made sure I have them now); and I refused to totally destroy my Journey LPs. What a boring collection that made for when that purge was finished!
They also wanted me to get rid of anything that was even slightly suggestive. They wanted me to get rid of all Madonna music even though there were some clean Madonna songs out there if you knew where to look (the True Blue LP is actually relatively clean). This also resulted in quite a blah collection of music. After my conductor moved out of the territory, I went through some of the songs I set aside, and if I couldn't find anything wrong with it by individual song, I would put it back in my collection.
I could imagine what would ever happen if anyone in that family ever did find my CD collection now. I have Led Zeppelin's whole box set, and several of the songs are in my computer. I now have Simon and Garfunkel, Van Halen (yes I got the ones they came out with after this ban), AC/DC, Blue Oyster Cult (Don't Fear the Reaper is in my computer), and Black Sabbath. I also have a lot of the rap music that they denounced, Michael Jackson (including music written after he disassociated), and every single one of the bands that the Puketower of 1993 explicitly banned like Cannibal Corpse. Some of the rap music, including in my computer, glorifies using drugs and contains gunshots. And I have Ja Rule and Xzibit, knowing that they were once Witlesses but either disassociated or got disfellowshipped. Yes, I have Janet Jackson (I heard she was disfellowshipped, so I put that in too).
So much for having my music collection staying compliant.

My dad threw away my Saturday Night Fever album in the 70's because a watchtower came out with an article on the evils of that disco music with it's jungle beat! (We all know nothing good can come out of the jungle!)
Anyway, he let me keep my soundtrack to "Grease" because that was 50's style music. (hence OK, because it was from his generation. Can't argue with that logic!)
I don't think he actually listened to the words on either album. I remember giggling as he bopped around the room to John Travolta singing "Greased Lightening". Remember the words to that, "I'll be gettin lots of tit,... the chick's 'll cream for greased lightening". There were no lyrics like that on Saturday Night Fever. I wanted to point out this to him but I knew I would just lose my "Grease" album too.
