Our CO says..."women in the workplace...a Satanic plot!"

That was a totally irresponsible remark for the hounder-hounder to make. First, everyone knows that more people can be reached in a shorter period of time on the Internet than going door to door. Yet, I don't see them encouraging Internet witnessing.

Then there are the many that are at home, but there is no way they are interested. No matter whether they are at work or not, they are not going to be suckered into the Witless cult. And that goes doubly for blondes (showing again that blondes are not always, or even usually, that dumb).

And what happens when necessity rules? Satan is not responsible for when a few people volitionally get together and put a squeeze on our energy and medical prices. If Satan could do that, then he for sure could price gas right out of reach of the Witlesses that waste the stuff all day in field circus. It is a few people at the tops of companies that lobby the government to create so many laws that it is impossible and illegal for anyone to create all-new technologies to get us out of the 1940s. These old technologies are obsolete, holding back the economy. And, that is what drives up prices, forcing both parents to work. Satan has absolutely nothing to do with that.

Finally, what happens when women feel like working? Believe it or not, there are occupations that most people enjoy far more than going from door to door proclaiming a scam that most people will not fall for. Some people just happen to enjoy running a business or doing things that actually create value. For sure, that cannot be Satan doing that!

I say that having hounder-hounders going up to the platform and enforcing policies that are not going to work is the real satanic plot. And by satanic, I do not mean Satan is responsible for it. I mean it's totally dishonest. It is forcing people to live in a delusion. It's a delusion that everyone can and should wait at home for the witlesses to come with the Puketower and Asleep! to come. It's a delusion that people can wash windows for 5 or 10 hours a week, spend the remainder of your time in field circus, and make enough money to support oneself. It is a delusion that people can be made to fall for a scam after they have been embarrassed by NBC (thank you, Barbara Anderson, for getting that on TV). It is a delusion that there is no world outside their little world that's worth living in. And, it is totally wrong to expect people to live in that delusion.

So why can't the men go out in the evenings and call on the men so that the congregations aren't 70% women? Lazy men.

"This was a curveball, it threw us for a bit. But now we've been concentrating on alternate forms of witnessing, going to where the people are, business territory, street work, so once again Jehovah thwarted Satan's plans."

and judging by the increase this method is certainly working....not

Reminds me of this verse of the Bible that always made me feel a little weird being that our congregation had a large number of women who where converted while at home, alone.

(2 Timothy 3:1-7) 3But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.

Although the text holds no real mystery for me know (understanding it within the context of early Christianity) I really used to wonder about what this ment when I was JW.

Quit your jobs right now and go back home and wait for the JWs to call on you!

Now you know what awaits you in the New System, dear ladies.

Being baby machines for Joe Hovah I'd imagine. That makes Joe happy their legs up in the air like NFL goalposts filling the new system with new baby JWs to help feed all that grass to the lions. What a fine spiritual goal

    sir82, take this:

Now next time you see your CO ram that up his ass and let the holy stake burn his sexist body because sexism is the work of the Satan. Therefore he is a DEMON. My logic is unflawed!

Unbelieveable that someone would still think that way these days. Reminds me of the old b and w movies where women are treated poorly at best. All about frightening the flock. As long as they keep thinking that way, the cult will remain irrelevant.
