1) at the movies?
2) at home in Tele's company?
3) in the park to share with the birds (unbuttered).
4) anywhere at anytime?
5) with all the fix-uns?

Hey, Free ...
Some like dry, grated cheese, flavored salt, etc. I guess popcorn balls is a different category.
I like mine unbuttered ... need fewer napkins.
Thanks and have a good day!

Oh i get it.
Ok well my favourite is chocolate covered toffee popcorn, delish.
Love to feed the pigeons in Washington Square. The geese and ducks at Wissahickon Creek and Fairmount Park. At the movies, as well. However, the last time I purchased the large box, it cost a whopping $7.00 dollars.

Never wouldda thought of chocolat/toffee ... will try my own version!
Thanks.

The rare times I go to movies I debate whether or not I'll spring for that hugely expensive box. It is, however, with one free refill. I remember 5-cent candybars when I was a kid in the 50s ...
Thanks!

I have a multipack of Butterkist at home (6 small packets) - toffee flavour
... and several popcorn crumbs stuck along with everything else in between the keys on my laptop
Hi Emo,
Either we're very behind here in the States or I'm just a little behind. Probably the latter. The only way I get anything remotely specialty is as in a gift food basket. I never buy but the basics. All meals from scratch ... do you know that term in England?
ThanX!

I am not a big popcorn fan.
Except when I go to the movies!
They sure have the right recipe for hot buttered popcorn!

At the movies, I always have popcorn EITHER with 1) nori furikake OR 2) arare OR BOTH. I'm in a town in the Central Valley far from the Bay Area, and I went yesterday to the only Asian food store in pursuit of either (as I want to go to Sweeney Todd today), and luckily I found some nori furikake but not my favorite brand. I will have to modify it a bit.
Then I will bring a grocery produce bag to the theatre, get some fake "butter" oil in a cup, shake it together with the popcorn with the seaweed/sesame seed mixture, and voila, movie popcorn! Then my other tendency is to not eat a morsel until the movie actually starts. When I was 11, I went to the movies with my aunt and she ate all the popcorn before the movie started. And ever since then, I wait patiently through the commercials and previews until the movie begins.
