Wow! I am so sorry your righteousness! Its not too difficult of a question is it? Do you believe in God, yes or no? If you do why are you blaming Him for false teachings. If not why are you blaming Him at all?

What is so good about blaming something man made up? Why not blame man for his lying?

If man has written his point of view about God in the Bible then that God does not exist. If God exist only in man's point view then He still does not exist.

I am simply stating that people want it both ways they want to blame God for every thing and they they state He does not exist anyway. So which is it?

    Exactly.

We don't blame god, society is the way it is.

If God is real, then he has much to answer for all of the butchery and injustice in his own word.

    Who can judge God?

"Will the judge of the Universe not do what is right?' Abraham (not LINCOLN)

God has all of the facts.

An interesting take. I don't think this thread was started to answer who is to blame writetoknow. However, if god exists, yet allows suffering, then one could argue that both god and man are to blame, so it isn't an either/or supposition anyway. People don't want it "both ways" when they point out obvious hypocrisy's within a religous creed as found in JW theology. I doubt your observations contributed to a more fluid understanding of the question you raised anyway, but thanks for trying. Because this thread was started with the idea that JW's are duped into believing that the god of the OT, YHWH, is a loving god, I thought the sentiments were well expressed. Many sincerely bought into the idea that Jehovah is somehow loving. But the evidence both in the world and in the bible tell us the exact oppostite. Frankly, whether they be JW's or other fundie religions, it is hard to look at truly civilized behavior in todays world, including the idea's of redemption and rehabilitation then read the bible and feel like it represents forward thinking. When you read that both homosexuals and rebellious children would share the same fate (stoning), it is hard to look at this evidence and think that Jehovah/YHWH is anything but a despot as he is portrayed. Whether or not god exists at all is another question altogether. I don't think the OT is a great piece of evidence to point to the existence of a god, or at the very least of a god worthy of worship.

Thank you. And for those that believe in God they can blame God for what ever!

Exactly! Who can judge? There is enough blame to go around. When man stop judging he can see.
