I will be paying off all my cards by next week (around 2500). Have you had a difficult time paying those bills this year?

This has to be the "cheekiest" thread ever on JWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One never asks someone about their finances!

We only have one credit card with a modest limit and we only use it for emergencies. We like to pay cash for everything.

That is the major advantage of having no credit cards. If you have no credit cards, it gets pretty hard to get in credit card debt.

I use a Discover card and pay the balance in full every month. So I pay NO finance charge, but still benefit from their cashback bonus program. In effect, I pay back less than what I charge.

Debt free...I drive an old car and wear crappy clothes though, so my frugality comes with a social price.

I used to be in debt, but paid it all off years ago. I keep a few credit cards for convenience and pay them off in full almost every month. I rarely ever carry a balance to the next month.
I also have a car note but the car is worth substantially more than the loan.
When I am going to buy something expensive, I make sure I already have the money in an interest bearing account. Then I buy the item by signing up for the store's 0% interest for XX months. The money earns interest and then I pay off the entire balance just before the 0% interest deal expires. I literally make money from the purchase.
Credit card companies don't particularly like me.

This year I had to use a few cards but fortunately, I am able to pay off the cards. I use them when I need to but I prefer cash too!
