ABANDONED- Well, maybe he will help her escape the cult. But he IS an elder , although not really a self righteous one . But my sister is the ultimate, regular pioneer martyr type who is so fanatical that she sacrifices everything to push the JW mindset forward . So, we shall see. I just wish she would get back with her daughter closer, and get that relationship back. But she is trapped in her mind control state so until she loses that thinking, she will forever look at her daughter as a loser. Very sad , really . Especially when her daughter has accomplished so much in college getting her law degree . Typical witness parent. peace out, Mr. Flipper

My wife is an expert at the dual personality.
I will never get used to it.
She is the only one of my immediate family that is not a 'born in'.
She prides herself on her honesty, and is honest to an extreme in her non-JW life, but has no conscience whatsoever when trying to polish the WT's cup in my presence.

BLACK SHEEP- Didn't realize you had posted on this dude. A year later- here is my reply. I'm sorry your wife has that " dual " personality. Many cult members JW or otherwise have an " authentic " personality and a " cult " personality " they turn on and off at any given moment like a water faucet. It's maddening and annoying because we don't know WHICH person we are talking to . But in time cult mind control can be broken- just takes time. I feel for you. Hang in there bro
