I keep seeing things in my boys that reminds me of myself. Yes, I have tantrums too... (But, I don't roll around on the floor. ) I love those little rascals and they drive me crazy too!

I knew all of you were kidding with the negative remarks.
I told my grandbaby that the hug would last until I returned, and would help to keep my bp down.

My children are 20 and 22, and even though I know they are not ready for children, I am ready for some grandchildren! I'm fortunate to work at the Library, and see many children every day. They are plain fun for the most part. Oh heck, here's one of my favorite stories.
There was a kindergarten class that would come in every Tuesday. After they had chosen their one book each, they would all line up to check out with me. From the beginning of the year, I would call them by name. Scan the card and say "Good Morning Susie" or "Oh you picked a good one today Johnny" etc. Well, at the end of the year, one little girl started to hand me her card, and then she whipped it around behind her back and said "What's my name?" Hehehe I was so darn happy that I remembered and was actually able to tell her!!! She just beamed.
In subsequent years, I refrained from getting into that habit, I didn't want to push my luck!

Even though my 5 year old neice drives me wacko sometimes, I just love her to death. It's interesting observing her. I think sometimes that she doesn't know alot, but she's alot smarter than I think.....smart enough to try to get over on me sometimes lol.
Also, I just get so happy inside when she tells me that she loves her uncle.

Just the smell & cuddle of my children leaves a lasting impression on my emotions every time. I swear that I actually get a feeling in my heart when I cuddle them. It's like they are transmitting feelings of love right into your heart. Sometimes my heart also aches when I think of how much I stand to lose if anything happened to them. Theres not another love like it.
