"It took the elders a full month to make an announcement after they got my letter. They'll probably do it the next time they have a "local needs" part in the meeting."
Sometimes, they try to lump things together, and so they stall for a bit.
In my case, when I took myself off of the pioneer list, they didn't read it the first meeting they could do so. The FSO who I had got in trouble before thought he would read it at the same time he read my friend's DF announcement, to imply there was something disciplinary going on with me (instead of the TRUTH that there wasn't!). But it backfired on his ass like pepper spray in a head wind, because I was DOING THE ANNOUNCEMENTS at that very meeting and was standing on stage when he read it!!! haha.
Point being, they do it to suit their best needs, not yours. Just let people know who need to know, as you are doing. -

Pity you didnt tell the lovely sister that called about the UN. The abuses in the Organization, about the Beth Serim mansion, about the pyramides ,She would have had something to look into....

If you went to a meeting and at every meeting one or more of the flock was leaving every month, that would look pretty bad. Some might question why this is happening. So why broadcast it to everyone if it's more bad news?

I probably would have if her baby hadn't been crying in the background and mine hadn't been running around like animals! So instead of prolonging the conversation I assured her that I appreciated her thinking of us and how kind she had been. Do you guys know how wonderful you are? Really? Well, you are wonderful. Now I'll go cry because you have touched my heart. momz

Hey Momz
While i am talking to you my JW wife and daughter have been invited to a wedding anniversary party leaving me and my 11y non JW son at home. Can't complain too loudly as wife could see the hypocrisy of leaving us out because we do not go
