Hey all, calories burned for 1/4/08 was only 830 cause i wasn't feeling good enough to pull a double like i usually do..gotta do some tweaking to my caloric and protein intake so that i'm not nuking muscle mass instead of fat.-KS

as for weight watchers, I guess calorieking does a similar things - I can record everything and get lots of feedback. I am learning portion control is crucial - I eat what I want but I try to measure the food so I'm actually eating the correct portion.
You all are inspiring me to keep up my walking - the way you are so regular about exercise.

Nah,I haven't tried that in particular,but i do have some new protein from MuscleTech(GNC was having a great sale this week on their stuff)I'm gonna be trying next week though,when i went to my weight in,and done my body comp,i had actually lost 1 lb of muscle..so to combat that..i'm gonna ramp up the protein intake,and start getting stricter about my caloric intake,keeping that food journal is the toughest thing for me. I live a sort of chaotic life atm,so scheduling meals,and snacks,writing it down,and calculating it up is gonna be a small feat for me..however i'm gonna make it happen anyway..i'm not letting this beat me...-KS

You may want to try fitday.com It's great, adds everything for you. I try to enter everything for the day first thing in the morning as I drink my one cup of coffee. Once everything I plan to eat for the day is in, I tweak it for nutrients and calories. The rest of my day is easy, I know exactly what my meals look like.

Ok kids, it's Monday morning. I've lost my one pound for the week, actually, I've lost 3.5.

Yeah, it's Monday morning. I didn't lose any weight (sigh) but I did lose 1 1/2 inches off my thighs and a half inch each off hips and chest. I had a goal of walking 150 minutes and I actually did 220 minutes of walking last week. So I guess it's one of those damn plateaus. congratulations - 3.5 pounds is fabulous

You know Hortensia, I've discussed this with other losers (hehe). It seems like you lose steadily for a time, and then you hit one of those plateaus on the scale. But it's then that the inches seem to catch up, and sizes go down.
The only reason I've had that big drop, is because I porked out for 2 weeks first!!

On track here.
swam today for 40 mins - approx 500 calories I think. Walked yesterday.
Have lost my 1 lb for the week - hoping I don't put it back on again. Feeling motivated. Because meals are smaller I take more trouble preparing them and enjoy them more
