I was 15, and i did it because i knew my dad wanted me to and that i was getting a bit old to not be dunked.

I had just turned 18 and was in 'the ministry' with an elder. At one point it was just the two of us in the car and he flat out asked me why I wasn't baptized yet. I didn't really have an answer for him, so he said that I was doing everything required of me (ie. ministry, theocratic school, commenting) and that I should just do it. So I did it. My parents were so hurt that I had 'made the decision without talking to them'. Truth is, I didn't really DECIDE anything! Ugh!
