How old were you when baptized as a JW?

I was 16 and did it cos my friend and I did everything together. It was years later that I learnt that you were supposed to dedicate your life at the same time as being dunked thats how much notice I really took.

11. I did it because my best friend got baptized the year before (at 10 years old!) and I was afraid the elders would start asking questions if I didn't get baptized, too. I started pioneering just before senior year so that I would get into pioneer school before her (she didn't start till we graduated). So much competition. I can't believe I was sucked into it.
