These are the "intellectual" responses made to Hillary's coments on the topic thread, which I believe was originally socialism but seems to have shifted somewhat to the assasination of Hillary's character. A favorite tactic of those who have no rebuttal to his actual comments on socialism.
Please keep in mind, that these comments were all made in response to Hillary's repeated requests to BTS and Journey-on to address the ISSUES in his argument and were not provoked by any insults on his part, unless you consider an argument that you can't rebutt an insult, in which case, I'm sure he was highly offensive!

Please bear in mind that this thread did not originate in a vacuum. HS has a long history of character assasination. He calls people stupid in more ways than I can list here and he has been doing so ever since I started on this board. He clearly stated on this thread that anyone that he does not agree with will be simply held up to ridicule, with no consideration for the content of their communications. Here is the text:
As I have noted on numerous occasions, ad hominem in my book is not a logical fallacy when used against arrogant religious fundamentalists or semi-fundamentalists like yourself, who are not open to reason and who involve themselves in threads they have no interest in learning from. Imo they deserve everything they get. There is no point debating fools, and the ad hominem avenue is an well-used road for such ones.

Hillary did not "jump" the thread. He posted before you and on topic. It was you and Journey-on who brought out the knives and after sticking him with them repeatedly for two pages and not getting any more than a request to reply to the issues, he finally takes a "stab" back, then you both both cry "play nice". As for civil, it's a little late for that, isn't it? Perhaps, in the future, if you do not initiate the incivilities, he will not follow suit, and deservedly so, in my opinion!
