..."How is a fraction acceptable if it comes from donated/stored blood not poured out? Doesnt that void that logic all together??? Why yes it does!"

I got compliments on that talk for months! Numerous elders said that it was an excellent talk. I guess they never got my point....

    LOL!!!

    Na..not so much crazy:

When I was in Florida I gave the old #5 talk one night. I guess I was feeling a little dramatic. I was making a point about time and unforseen occurance (tm) ..anyway, to make the point I was telling a story about a man walking down the street...the rounding the corner....and BAM! shot dead in the chest ...........

I got a pretty emphatic on the gunshot... slapped the podium for sound effects......... woke up the Hall.

They did not toss me off the school... but I think that was the last talk I gave in Boynton.

There was a newly baptized guy who was being interviewed on stage and when he touched the mic, he got a shock and instinctively yelled “Shit!!”

    hmmmmm....why, yes I have...

I like to shock the audience with a viewpoint that makes perfect sense but is diametrically opposed to WT teachings, and then refute it lamely using the lame WT argument.

I also love to emphasize how teachings have changed and how important it is to stay current with new light, because major teachings can change suddenly.

    now that's a good one.....

    you could say...

"so called "universtiy professors, historians, archiologists & students of higher learning" have amassed mountains of so-called "proof" that Jerusalem was not destroyed in 607 BCE but rather 587 BCE. Unearthed ruins, written papyrus, chronicles of kings, etc.
They "claim" that these thousands of sources of "evidence" prove their case. But can we trust such "evidence"? Can we trust these "professionals" over Jehovahs written word?
    Of course not!
Long before this so-called "evidence" and "undeniable facts" ever made its way into the hands of archeologists Russell was revealing scriptural truths about 607 BCE. He didnt the world to agree with him! Why even a child and subtract 70 from 537 !
And so Jehovahs people knew long before the rest of the world the true date of Jerusalems destruction by the Babylonians! 606 BCE ! ....................... Later changed to 607 BCE when new archeological evidence came to light."

One of the elders in my old congregation once asked, "now really, if you were to actually have to die for your brothers and sisters, would you? I doubt it. it's nice to talk about it, but it's another thing to do it"

I remember at least 3 elders taking a folder out of their brief cases and writing something down- they were frazzled. It was great

My brother gave a talk about the Rosery and kept calling it the Rotisserie.

I gave a vagina dialogue (as sisters can't speak to the audience) and trying to make it real I had my Catholic householder not want to use the NWT so we used the Catholic Douay Version. Big mistake.
