In ten years they could be pointing out to 2034 more strongly than today. But is is not "If the end does not come" but "When the end does not come"

wha happened?
Well I predict in the next 10 years that I will have a bowel movement. I think the 2034 date will be brought up again and be sold after 2010. It's far enough away to keep people in check.

Excellent post...
Unfortunately what you said is my personal experience in the WT. My grand father became JW at the early 50's. believing the end will come soon. My dad also. I recall 1975 when I was only 7...
My dad past way at the age of 80 hoping he would see the end...He went through 1975, 1980's the change of the generation in 1995, and died after 10 years still hoping to see the end...
I'm 40 and I see my ex-JW wife teaching the same fairy story regarding the end to our small children...
I believe we must live for today...enjoy every single minute of this life, and most of all show love and understanding
This is what I have learn

wha happened?
I really feel for those who cling to that hope. they sacrifice too much to be dissappointed and die off. I'm 44 and my wife is finally seeing the forest through the trees. prediction after prediction and then nothing. I believe that other tests to our humanity is tested as we live our lives

If the end doesn't come in 10 years, then.. maybe Franz's rantings were off by 100 years, and the TRUE ending will be in... 2075!! long after I'm probably gone...
