..A Bird with 5 Toes..

  Hi Rayzor,

  The ptarmigan do have large prints, but I do not think thay are as larg as Outlaw is describing and they also conform to the standard three-toed prints that Outlaw describes.

  Outlaw,

  I have spent a lot of time on the snow climbing and have never seen a print like this one. The eagle does have a large claw at the rear but it still conforms to the standard three-toed bird design given to us by our loving Creator. ;)

  A mystery, but I have written to a 'twitcher' friend for further help.

  Outlaw,

  I have pictures of a heron perched in a tree and sitting on the roof of my house, but I forget how to post them here on the board. He ate all my goldfish in the pond beside our house.

  Rayzor..Thanks for the Pic`s..This bird is much larger..I`m sure there will be reports of missing cattle when I get to town....LOL!!...................Belbab..Thank you Also for the Pic....The toes are too close together to be a Heron.........................HS..I`ve seen pics of you mountain climbing..Very cool........Yes these tracks were incredibly large,like nothing I have seen before..It looks exactly like an Eagle track..But..With 2 middle toes..???.......Perhaps "Twitcher" can shed some light on this mystery.....Thank you for your help my Friend!.................OUTLAW

  Maybe it was a SHIVERING bird with three front toes. He'd hop...shiver...double print.

  I've seen enough human babies to know that sometimes people are born with more than the expected number of fingers and toes.

  Who knows... maybe this bird has extra toes due to a genetic anomaly?

  Or maybe your penguins are messin' with your head again. LOL

  Jgnat..He walked up the ranch driveway a ways..Then walked back down..Every print was the same..And..Very defined..This bird has 2 front toes..???..If he simply moved his foot to get a double foot print..I`d be looking for a Giant Bird....LOL!!...................................LOL!!@dawg...............................OUTLAW
