This shows how the WTS is way more concerned about retaining their numbers instead of actually growing. I think they are trying to create financial sustainability without depending un-ending growth.

If you read my posts I am predicting the year 2011 AD as the most-likely date of the end of the world .I am not a member of the Jehovah Witness organization you may think of as I am an independent servant of Christ with new views - much different than that of Jehovah's Witnesses .Yet I am taking sides with Jehovah's Witnesses seeing them as the best christian organization on the face of the earth.
We have some 4 years left then and should any truly believing christian abstain from having babies ? Being in marriage how many people today postopone having children ! Be in a real world it is easy to live without children and enjoy sex . I myslelf would notb see any problem if I had a wife and delayed having a baby ! How many people are having sex wanting at any price not a have a baby ! They use condoms and there are other means to prevent unwanted pregnancy. And it is not because of the imminent end of the world ! People are doing that for other reasons and it is OK ! But now when somebody who belives the end may come soon and decides to spend more time of for God by abstaining from having babies it is not OK but it is wrong !
There are priests who are celibate and are doing it not because the end of the world is imminent but because of another reason.
But those folks have sex and how it is convenient for them by not having the babies .If I were married I could go on like that for years without having a single baby.

I am saying the end will not come this year ,next year or 2010 AD but it may come in 2011 AD. So take it as a 50:50 proposition . And go the store when you can see people lining up with joy - how great joy and enthusiasm ! - hoping to buy a lottery ticket and hit a jackpot. Chances may be 1: 50 000 000 and yet all may be dreaming they may win. So now how enthusiastic should be a person that belives the end may come and chances are 1:2 ? Of course since it is 1:2 you should rather keep your house and car . But suppose you overreacted and have found a good reason to give up possesions will it be a tragedy if the end comes ?
Hey ! Have you seen on TV how Latinos in hordes are crossing the borders Mexico and USA and they are alomost with bare hands and next week they stand on feet in the USA they started from zero and and stay illegally and they get rich very quick : they send money , have houses and cars !
So you being an American citizen should you complain you lost everything and the end of the world has not arrived and what a tragedy it will be ! Ask Latinos !

The guilt these crazy men impose on people is criminal. Having children is a personal decision and a God given right. I feel so sorry for anyone who listens to them and ends up old and lonely. The jws don't have such a good reputation for taking care of their elderly.
I don't know about couples who remain childless being big donaters to the society. I've known quite a few who just became spoiled and greedy, spending all their money on themselves.

Yeah how sad it is. They are only copying paste themselves. WT never changes in this matters. I wish that they could follow their own advice. For sure they wouldn't have left any Witnesses from the days of Rutherford if they didn't have children, since the increase is basically JW's kids.
I mean the GB does not have a sense at all of what they are saying. If JW's don't have kids, no increase...Can they understand that they are cutting the branch that they are sitting
