Jehovah's Witnesses Are NOT Conscientious & They Don't Really Care!

Witnesses try to make it sound as though they are very very conscientious people. They care about you, your spiritual welfare, your everlasting welfare....but nothing could be further from the truth!

If they truly cared, they would see to it that they reached people to give them the lifesaving Truth. They don't though. They regularly knock on doors and ring doorbells knowing no one is there! But it keeps their "time" going. If they do find a person of interest, instead of doggedly following up on the person, they might let the person's interest wane for several weeks or months before finally making another visit.

So often, even those that do make regular return visits, like to keep it at that. They don't want to take the responsibility of having a Bible student to attend to.

If the Watchtower Society REALLY wanted to make sure those that were less informed got the "Truth" to save their lives, they would spend their billions of dollars to get the message out by means of the internet and the media. But the hypocrites really don't care about saving people's lives. They just like to talk about it!

And there's more proof that the Organization is two-faced. Once a person gets baptized, that's it!!! They are no longer nurtured and cultivated. They're on their own. And if they are beset by problems of any type, they are not supported the way they were before their baptism. If somehow they slip up and err, they are responsible to The Elders who may very well mete out harsh discipline so as to make sure the "wrongdoer" does not commit another sin and so that other congregation members maintain their distance so as not be "contaminated" by the "sinner"....

A nice group of caring "Christianns", huh?

Jehovah's Witnesses TALK about how much they love and how much they go the extra mile for the sheep but the reality differs, sad to say.

Minimus, do you know how I learned the truth, aka Jesus? Thru the media, TV and radio. Many times I've asked myself the same question. How come this billionaire organization doesn't use TV airtime to spread the good news? You are so right, they just don't care.

While I apreciate your comments, Minimus, I think that its not wise to be judgmental about ALL Jehovah's Witnesses. I think the minority actually do the things you say they do - the rest are deluded into thinking they are doing some good.

Yep - I've said this before - it's ridiculous they tramp door to door when 'the message' could reach millions more people in a fraction of the time....and 'householders' are more likely to 'listen' if they see the message on the internet or on TV (rather than strangers who come to their door) - times have changed. It isn't as though JWs reject modern means of spreading the message - cars are used in the Ministry to cover greater areas - and there's telephone witnessing too....it's hard to believe that JWs cannot see this.

I think some JW's act in good conscience, and other's don't care.

The organization sets high expectations -- you're supposed to get out and reach all your return visits, and start those Bible studies. You need a combination of time, energy and high desire to meet such expectations. Many JW's only have one out of those three. The WTS has a certain missionary class who may have all three, but to expect all JW's to measure up to the standard of missionaries is too much to ask.

Then the organization imposes harsh discipline on baptized ones who get into trouble. This again is the high expectations of the organization, and I think the average JW goes along with this regimentation out of fear.

The organization is fear-based. Some JW's really want to show love, others don't care. That's like humanity as a whole.

I think also that the fear/performance based motivation breeds selfishness, and arrogance. While a person is studing with a "sheep like" one it is almost impossible for them to not be thinking about the time, publications they can count, not to mention that they have 3 bible studies and no one else in the congregation has that many. Or, what experience they can share in the hall at the service meeting. Internal thoughts being "oh I am so good, because I do everything the slave asks of me, not like brother so and so who was just reproved. I knew he was weak."

    Love your new avitar!

I like it better when you ask silly little questions. This is too much reading.

I think all they want is for people to waste all their time, not to get people in. Obviously, they want to get people in, but they do so in the most inefficient way possible. And, the object is to keep people from enjoying their lives in the slightest.

Then they have the nerve to pounce on people for making the tiniest mistake. Life for them is stagnant and dull, having no choices and always having to be uncomfortable. Going from door to door, at great cost and risk to themselves, keeps them from having the time and money to do independent research. Usually they end up sick and die of stress related diseases at an early age, but no one at the top cares.
