Jehovah's Witnesses Are NOT Conscientious & They Don't Really Care!

  If they really cared about people's lives, they would NEVER preach.

  Why?

  Because those that DO NOT HEAR THE TTRUTH will just be judged by Jehovah at Armageddon.

  But those that DO HEAR THE TRUTH are subject to following all the rules and regulations of the organization, and have to deal with imperfect politicos in the organization to maintain their good standing.

  Preaching to someone endangers their chances for eternal life - who knows if they might make a small mistake that could lead to bad standing, and they wouldn't have the chance to patch things up (after all The End is So Near). Who knows if they might accidentally make an enemy of a politico in the local BOE who could stumble them just moments before The Great Battle.

  It's kinder to let Jehovah judge their hearts at the proper time. Ignorance is salvation.

  If this was TRULY a lifesaving work, two things:
  
  1) People would/should spend ALL available time saving people. Not 4-6 hours a month on off hours.
  
  2) They are damning most people to destruction. By giving an opportunity to say no, they will likely be destroyed in Armageddon. They are better off not giving the message, so they never got a chance, and would be resurrected.
  
  That is IF this were all true.

  The leadership provides the method to preach. NO ONE preaches with a sense of urgency. NO ONE puts their $$$ where their mouth is. They ALL talk talk talk and in reality do nada!

  I think they say that actually meeting people in their homes just like the early Christians did is the most effective way to gain converts.

  Because that's what most of all the other religions do and they can not be like all the other religions now can they? They would be like the "world".

  Well, in my congregation we had very zealous sisters who where regularly out on service and took their commission to preach very seriously..I was one of them. In all weathers, we were there...kids in tow... What I noticed however, was the fact that 90% of the brothers/including elders, didn't have this same zeal. It was a waste of time passing on calls to them, as very often they did nt follow them up, or took too long to get there. It was difficult to pin the brothers down to take on interesting ,but difficult calls. If the house was dirty, if the householder argumentative, a scholarly penticostal, a muslim, an alcoholic..the brothers would somehow excuse themselves of the responsibility. Also, whilst from the platform they encouraged pioneering and part-time work ..Most of the elders had top jobs, a big house and went on expensive holidays... When I 'turned off' the WT, it dawned on me.."They don't really believe it all" Their actions proved this... xxx Strawberry Cake

  Elders HATE preaching the word. Most every elder finds an official way to get out of doing h2h.
