Proud of you, Mr. Flipper!
NEXTDOORGIRL- Hey thanks sis. I appreciate it. It was one of the most bizarre conversations I've ever had with a WT representative. But educational for sure
The organization is delusional, they live in a fantasy world where all of history is about them their a "theatrical spectacle to the world" and one day the world will turn on them and put them all in camps because there all led by satan.
this viewpoint makes them & the followers see all charges as a satanic plot to stop them from preaching and they don't believe real evidence of wrongdoing unless its directed at some other religion. They seem to be in some kind of trance where they see purity when it is not pure.
I know that when I was a jw I thought they were the good guys. I never imagined the lies & deceit & the suffering that was caused till I woke up one day and the disgust one feels for what one had been a part of is overwhelming.

This is so true! My brother has wildernes survival gear for his whole family in exspection of the "great tribulation".He fully exspects to live with his severly diabetic wife and 2 small children one of wich who also has diabetis in the forest once persecution starts untill armageddon. There are diffenetly witnesses who dont take it all very seriousl but in my experince the ones who do really do!
NANCY DREW- A very good and accurate point you make about the WT society being delusional. They do indeed live in a " fantasy " world seeing themselves through rose colored glasses which blur their vision of holding themselves accountable for ANYTHING in the way of wrongdoing. They really are criminals disguised as good guys - truth be told. They have a persecution complex incorrectly thinking the world is out to get ONLY them. But the men at the top are too proud to EVER take responsibility for their errors in regards to child abuse.
FREEDOMISNTFREE- Your brother intends to live in the forest with his wife and 2 small children when Armageddon comes ? Survival gear is packed ? Geez. I think he'll have a long wait as the " generation overlap " theory will delay Armageddon once again
O.K. This thread has been bumped up for Titus to see what was said in MY conversation with a Bethel legal rep back in 2008
Thank you, mr. Flipper!
I will read it!
Peace out!
So true...Mr. Flipper correctly stated in another topic that the elders should check the criminal record of anyone who wants to be a JW.What happens if the one is a murderer?A rapist?A child molester? And what happens if he's motives are mean?DAMN
Every once in awhile I try to bump this thread up for newer board members to see what Bethel legal tells people who call Bethel regarding their child abuse policy. I had this conversation a few years ago with a Bethel legal rep.
TITUS- Hope you read it.
XPETER X- The problem is - there isn't even a policy in the newer elders manual about checking criminal records on men in congregations to know whether they were a molester or not. So nobody knows- they just take the word of whatever congregation the man moved in from and take his former elders word on it. Pretty gullible I'd say. A hell of a way to expose children to being sexually assaulted
