Just remembered a couple weeks ago a JW friend and I crossed paths with a young doctor and the bunch of hot, young nurses that work in his office. After talking about how rich, successful, well-educated, world-travelled, and handsome he was, I (jokingly of course) started in on the "Yeah, worldly people like that aren't really happy." We were laughing so hard at revising the quotes we'd heard for so many years. "Okay, so maybe he thinks he's happy, but he's not really joyful." "How can he be satisfied with such a worldly lifestyle. He'll never know the joy of awakening angry people on Saturday morning by knocking on their doors. Real pleasure doesn't come from playing golf, vacations, or sky-diving. Pleasure is conducting a Bible Study with a convicted criminal in prison." Yeah, we shoulda been DFd for that afternoon's conversation!
