LOOLOO- The JW's reasoning on who is bad and who is not is very simple. I truly feel JW's look at us non-meeting attenders the same way they view pedophiles, homosexuals, heterosexuals, anybody inactive ! If we are NOT supporting the " kingdom arrangement " we are all scum in their eyes ! They actually support pedophiles who go to meetings , go out in service, give talks , and raise their hands at meetings. See my point ? This is how they judge people ! Incredible

Billy- you are giving the impression by your careless statement of consenting adults that this behavior(homosexuality) is ok. Just because two people consent to something does not mean its ok to do. This behavior is against nature and not to mention against God's laws! if what you say is the case then people can consent to do drugs together or commit murder or whatever else people can do together,just because they consented dosent make it ok

From what has been in the news and on the silentlambs website, I would say that sex between two consenting homosexuals is much worse than pedophelia in the JW world. I have never heard of the WTB&TS protecting homosexuals, but they're certainly busy hiding pedophiles. Well, okay, there have been stories about the Bethel boys and their leaders, but, that isn't common knowledge!

Homosexuality was a disfellowshipping offense unless you held a high position in the organization like Chitty and Greenlees. Pedophilia wasn't really addressed in any serious manner by the Watchtower Society until the scandal broke with the revelations of Bill Bowen and Barbara Anderson. So, the standard held by the Watchtower Society has been a double standard motivated by it trying to keep a clean image of the organization. Ironically, it has backfired and exposed one of its worst aspects.
