I have always been a sucker for a good soppy love song, which automatically excludes Paul MacCartney from entering this thread in any way, shape or form. ;)
Last night I was wading through my huge vinyl collection, pulled an album long-not heard and spun this track on the rack. Though penned almost forty years ago, I have to say, it is still a very handsome song indeed.
Marty Balin, guitars and voice, with Grace Slick on flute.
Well, you must admit that it beats "I'm gonna eviscerate ma bitch Kate", though given the relationship between Balin and Slick he was probably thinking, "I'm gonna displace the face of Grace".
Okay, submerge me in soppy love songs that will have me sobbing like Michael Buble at a personality conference. I will let you know if they work.
Shut up Burn.
