I would like to point out that astronomy is one of my hobbies, I've been using a telescope for about 3 years, but nothing I have seen requires me to invoke some mystical inexplicable Jew in the Sky.
Maybe so, but physics has had to invent "dark matter" to explain away the "inexplicable" deficit in the gravitational interaction of matter we can see…

I was thinking about that today. The difference is that science expects to be able to answer these questions, hopefully in the near future; with god the attitude seems to be that "god is too great for us to ever understand".
