Anyone have access to this? I need it for Watchtower Comments. Wouldn't it be nice to scoop the talk?

Wine and crackers at my place afterwards!

You mean the outline is THE SAME for all congregations???

We used to have all this hype about having a visiting speaker - I guess to make us think we'd have an interesting Memorial talk - for a change, sort of with a different flavour...but if the outline is the same, then the talks would pretty well all be the same too...geez, you learn something new here every day...same s**t, different speaker...

V- I tried to download all of your videos but three of them had no sound. I tried it three times. Do you know what I did wrong?

I would love to see that too. Will it be an all new talk ?

It should be since the "heavenly calling" has been reopened once again.

They can no longer spend 10 minutes telling you not to partake. Could they ?

If they take this old approach it would show that they are still trying to keep those embarrassing partaker numbers down.

If they just give a more generic talk without encouraging or discouraging participation look for the numbers to spike upwards rapidly.

They will then have to reinvent the 144,000 number to be symbolic. That might be a smart (cunning) move for them to make.

I wasn't aware that they'd revised it since.

TECHNICALLY, it's a total JOKE, right? They were only supposed to attend the memorial until Christ returned. If Christ returned in 1914, then WHY are they still celebrating the remembrance of when he LEFT?

    ROFL!!!

    Proclaimers chap. 10 p. 137
Growing in Accurate Knowledge of the Truth
As the events following 1914 began to unfold and the Bible Students compared these with what the Master had foretold, they gradually came to appreciate that they were living in the last days of the old system and that they had been since 1914. They also came to understand that it was in the year 1914 that Christ's invisible presence had begun and that this was, not by his personally returning (even invisibly) to the vicinity of the earth, but by his directing his attention toward the earth as ruling King.

    Wow, thanks for that.

Is says that he is here invisibly, then it takes it back... or am I not reading it correctly ?
