  talk about boundary violations! that kind of behaviour is meant to domintate, intimidate and humilate.... such wonderful characteristics to display as any Xn will tell you

  i remember reading a newspaper article in NZ in 2002 about a group of witness "brothers" and younger males on a camping trip where the MEN were parading around in women's undergarments, and one of the lads was so distressed by it he wandered away from the group, got lost..... sad story short.... died in the bush.....there was a bruhaha for a period of time and i never did know if there were charges filed, as we were only in the country for a month.....

  that kind of behaviour sickens me, mr flipper, and it is a shaming on those who displayed it..... sorry, mate

  That is a crime. It's sexual harrassment/molestation (can be an adult). You were effectively raped. The effect on you was similar. It's horrible!

  I would have brought up charges against them!

  I'm sorry this happened to you Mr.Flipper.These guys were complete assholes which is undoubtedly why their wives divorced them.

  It's funny isn't it that whenever something happens to SOMEONE ELSE most elders have no problem saying: "Get over it".But when it happens to them look out ! Very hypocritical.

  I remember when I was very new "in the troof" and I stopped by an MS's house and they were having a Super Bowl party with a bunch of brothers (including the PO).Holy cow I was in shock ! The yells and carrying on and obvious drinking could be seen just by opening the door and not even going in the house.It was a weird experience for me and helped me to see there were two personalities most Witnesses have...the real one... and the one they want everyone else to see.These same men will then sit down and counsel some young brother for playing a video game they personally don't like, or wearing a tie that's too "flashy" or any other number of nonsensical things."Guided by holy spirit", yeah right ! More like, guided by a selfish spirit; maybe even bottled spirits. ! I'm so glad I left, I just wish I had done it long ago...

  abuse is abuse is abuse - and the fact that you fought back with all your might shows it was assault, pure and simple. What assholes. And besides the physical and mental abuse and the humiliation, what kind of sick message is this sending to their sons? I would never forgive them.

  The CHICKENNEST- I agree- I have seen a lot of bad abuse too in the JW organization ! I probably should have pressed charges. And I agree it sets a terrible example or precedent for these children to be abusive when they become adults !
  
  WHO ARE YOU ?- That's a good point - Calling child protective services to protect these kids from learning abusive behavior from these adult fathers !
  
  GREGOR- Yeah, bud. I felt like bashing them over the head as well with a piece of firewood - however I was a bit outnumbered with 4 of them and 1 of me ! I agree- don't need friends like that !
  
  BRING the LIGHT- Yeah ! No big deal ! I love everybody to have a good look at my a$$, right ? LOL! I've been told I have a very sexy a$$ actually ! LOL! By females that is ! ( Thought I'd preface that comment !)
  
  CHICKPEA- That was an awful experience you shared from New Zealand ! Oh my god ! This poor young man being so distraught at witness men running around as women - that he wanders off, gets lost in the bush and dies !? Freaking incredible. I hope those me posing as ladies got their hind ends sued off ! Jesus, people's stupidity never ceases to amaze me anymore.
  
  WHITE DOVE- Yes. I agree it was close to sexual harassment actually. And in front of kids as well ! I would have taken them to court- but remember the stupid society used to tell us - " Don't take a brother or sister to court, settle your differences in the congregation". Now I know why they say that after all these years- bad press, they don't want it, or bad publicity about the organization ! Truly sick

  These were guys I considered my friends , and here they are trying to pull my underwear off, in front of the 8 to 10 year old boys and slap my a$$ ! I fought like hell ! 3 of them couldn't bring me down ! I kicked and yelled , and told them to stop, knock it off, but they just kept at it ! Finally 4 of them held me down, and with my bare a$$ exposed they spanked me in front of the 8 to 10 year old boys watching. Talk about humiliating ! I was so mad I could spit

  I must say that it was out of order to do this in front of your son.

  Perhaps they thought that you took yourself a little to seriously and were trying in their own ham-fisted way to get you to loosen up a little.

  Mr. Flipper. I ashamed to say that I have been in such a situation but I was on the aggressor side of it. This happened a long time ago. The other difference, besides children not being involved, is that we were a group of gay guys in our twenties. I will spare you the details. Let's just say ice cubes were involved.

  I am still friends with the guy we attacked. And if the others were alive I think we'd all still be friends, too. It was silly horseplay that got out of hand.

  For these men to do that in front of their children is just plain wrong.

  BREAKING AWAY- Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I think they were pretty much a$$holes myself ! I too noticed in the witness organization that many JW's have 2 personalities as well ! One they have at the kingdom hall, and the more dark personality they have away from the congregation out of sight !
  
  HORTENSIA- I agree this was tantamount to assault ! I did fight hard - you think the jerks would have stopped , but they kept on. I agree this sent a sick , twisted message to their children about abuse ! I may have forgiven them , however I never went camping with them again or did anything socially with them ever again.   LOL, I was certainly just kidding. Those guys were trying to humiliate you, there's no way a group of guys would go that far as a friendly prank.

  I felt embarrassed for you just reading the account.

  There is a time for being naked, and it has nothing to do with a bunch of men pulling at one's underwear and slapping his bare ass. It seems from what you say that these guys may not have been the best of the best in terms of association to begin with - after all they all got dumped by the women in the end didn't they.

  Yep - maybe Karma is involved here. After your story my belief in Karma is reinforced.

  Thanx for sharing. I would look up those guys addresses and send them all an 'anonymous' subscription to a gay magazine. Their current wives might enjoy that!
