Youtube is such a repository for these cretins. I don't even know why you spend time talking with them, but you are a stronger person for it.
An Interesting YouTube debate I had with a JW

Once more we have not used the 607 BCE date for some years now as part of our teachings. yes it is still discussed from time to time but that doesn't mean its what we believe.
If this guy really is a witless, sad to see how he doesn't see that 607 is the cornerstone of their faith. Throw that away and you have a FDS that doesn't have any balls...

we have not used the figure 607 BCE for many years now.
it was a figure that has long since been discarded. This guy has his head so far up his own ass that he is starting to imagine "new light"

No 607bce, No 1914? You might as well admit that the Governing Body/F&DS have left the building and the kids in the writing dept are running the show now. JW's are like that big oil freighter in the Waterworld movie looking for dryland, somewhere- only JW's are rowing for some unknown port called Earthly Paradise. The Org keeps telling them , a little bit longer , steer left, steer right, fullspeed, reverse course, almost there, people - keep rowing harder, keep the faith in your leaders- no more murmuring you bunch of crybabies or we'll toss you overboard!!.

still discussed from time to time but that doesn't mean its what we believe. -------Once again one of the most frustrating things trying to talk to a jw. They have no clue about their own history or the fact that they should not disagree with the wt's according to the wt's themselves. By disagreeing with something in print they are disagreeing with the fds, they don't seem to understand this. They get annoyed when you use their own literature and quote what the wt actually does teach and it comes straight from the fds who gets it from where? aren't they God's channel?

So I decided to take the calm, cool approach now, and end our discussion like this
"It seems to me your knowledge of the subject is very limited. Tell me, are you a full-fledged JW or someone who is studying with them?
You say that they haven't taught 607 BCE for years, yet, here in their 2005 publication What Does the Bible Really Teach? it explains its relation to 1914 in great detail. Go ahead, look it up. It starts on page 215.
I suggest talking with your local elders about some of your perspectives on Jehovah's Witness beliefs. Specifically, tell them how you feel about how the Bible "is not a rule book that determines everything we do." Tell them how you feel that the Bible is imperfect and is not perfectly how God intended it.
Ask them why JW's don't celebrate Christmas. You might be surprised to know it's a purely religious objection on their part, having little to do with the "commercialism" involved. They believe Christmas is a pagan celebration and that any Jehovah's Witness caught celebrating it will be disfellowshipped. Again, don't take my word for it, ask your elders.
To conclude, I would like to say something about the Watchtower. Of COURSE no witnesses are going to say they hold the Watchtower to a higher esteem than the Bible. The problem I have is when the Watchtower interprets something in a way I disagree with. Again, ask your elders what would happen if you just couldn't agree with something the Watchtower said. They might say you'd be disfellowshipped, or they might say that as long as you keep it to yourself but continue to teach it to householders and the congregation, you'll be okay.
I don't agree with that. I don't think that you should be forced to teach something you don't agree with. But, if disagreement with the Watchtower (or ANY of the society's publications for that matter) is forbidden in open discussion, then can you really say you're holding the Bible in higher esteem?
I'd like you to write back after you've had this discussion. I'd be interested to know if how I said the elders would respond isn't correct." -

By disagreeing with something in print they are disagreeing with the fds, they don't seem to understand this.
I say let 'em think they can disagree. Then, when they actually do, they find out that it's not so easy to have a mind of your own in the organization.

My brother-in-law was deleted as ministerial servant b/c he didn't meet national average for field service hours.
What a total lie that dubs do not have to report field service hours in order to hold privileges.
