Some of the Brochures were OK too - they were a much shorter and concise read.

When I was a little girl, I liked looking at the scary pictures in the orange book, "From Paradise Lost to Paradise Regained."

The pic of the ground cracking open and people falling down down down into the darkness terrified me. Daddy conducted

our Family Bible Study from this book and never hesitated to mention this is what was going to happen at Armageddon to

everyone that wasn't a Jehovah's Witness......that's why we needed to be good little children and listen to Mama and Daddy and Jehovah.

    Sheeesh! What a mind f*&k!

Hands down my new favorite is the "How to Dress Like Ward Cleaver at Bethel" brochure now available at the information board of your local K Hall.

Makes me want to run out and buy a closet full of Dockers and some Levi Straus stock.

Back in 1969 I enjoyed "Things In Which It Is Impossible For God To Lie!" It came in the pocket and large editon sizes. Chapter three dealt with the complete Bible. I use to carry the small pocket size with me and read through it daily. This is the book that hooked me. Then came "The Blue Bomb" the Truth book, and I was caught, hook ,line and sinker.

I found some of the stories to be mildly entertaining as stories, but it ruined it to have to take it seriously. Now I enjoy reading it for the purpose of tearing it apart and throwing it back into their faces.

I enjoyed the "Greatest Man" book because I dig Jesus. I also enjoyed the "Mankind's Search" book probably because it gave an overview on religions other than the one that was shoved down my throat on a daily basis for decades.
