Quandry - keep at it. I have a good friend who is a former JW also and she is in her late 50s/early 60s and will graduate soon, she takes 3 or 6 credits at a time (1 or two classes) and now, she only needs 10 credits to graduate so I hope by next year or so.
Golf2 - sorry I should clarify, attending college did NOT make me an atheist. Actually, it was from personal readings, and after my JW family decided to shun me for good, I took a hard look at religion. I do attend the Episcopal and Christian Orthodox church from time to time because I enjoy the music and the ritual. My only regret it that I did not take any religion classes. I considered a few several times, but could never fit them into my schedule.
Thanks again to everyone!
Best,
