I believe many of them no longer believe either, yet stay to keep their social group, as I do.

I appreciate your concern. Yes, I have a plan. I'm not going to keep one foot in forever. There are specific reasons why I can't just walk away immediately, but by this time next year I'll be one hudred percent out, and I can't wait. Hopefully I'll be able to open some more eyes in the meantime. I think so.
I am glad to see that so many on this board agree with the fact that indeed a new "breed of Witnesses" are emerging. The conference calls that we have been having for the last two months are bringing 'active Witnesses' in. This format, somehow, is being viewed by active Witnesses as "Witness friendly". Not only have 'active Witnesses commented on the conference call but, it has been confirmed that there are also many listening in. We are in the process of making it more comfortable for Witnesses by the use of software that will distort their voices. Three recordings are listed. The two latest recordings are active. The April recording is inactive . It is temporality banned until further notice.
Your one recording is "banned?" Anxious to hear more about that! I like your conference call style,,almost like a 'radio talk show' with the latest JW 'news', special guests that have written a book or someone now in a Candian court case re the Watchtower Society & blood issue and I look forward to your future guests. I like how you try to get other JWs to come on line if possible too.

ROTFLMFAO!!!!! First, how do confuse a winless??? Tell him the Truf? Are you saying they have made sense out of what they have ever been taught?????????? That would make it non-nonsense.....right? Dubs would have to have enough brains and inititive to question something for it not to make sense.....PLEASE tell me you agree with this point......oompa

My parents have been of this variety for quite a while. The majority of the BOE in thier Hall have been this way too. Dad tells me that there are more and more that are less dogmatic and allow for conscientious freedom. I've been to a lot of KHs around the country. I'm just not seeing it.

Hello! Oompa, the statement I made that many Witnesses are having a hard time, "making sense out of nonsense", can easily be observed among the Jehovah's Witness community today in view of their ever changing doctrines, their vacillating rules, and the Watchtower org. itself acting like a "deer caught in the headlights", with all the adverse publicity. Many Witnesses are now seeing that the org. is not as pious,sacred or holy as they at one time appeared to be. Many Witnesses are acting like many Catholics--they are going to church i.e. Kingdom Halls but, not following the rules. This is, indeed, part and parcel for this new liberal Witness, the "new breed" or "class" of Witnesses.
