I read this in an old year book about 10 years ago. Guess where the woman lived. The jungles of Africa. Guess what her former religion was. Voodoo.

What other yearbook/WT stories of demonism have you read and heard? These stories are told like they really happened.

Oh, the woman is OK now because she kept calling out Jehovah's name and studied anyway. This all happened when she started studying. Satan didn't like it so he sent demons to harrass her. She went to all sorts of doctors and they couldn't figure out why her stomach was swelling so badly. After praying a lot with her study person, her stomach went back to normal. I wonder if she was pregnant.

I really question all those yearbook stories now, can we ever really be sure of truth from them? I think not.

I recall an assembly experience to be given by a good friend of mine at the time. She was asked to relate about how she dealt with the

opposition from her husband as she was coming into the "truth". She thought long and hard wrote something up and showed the elders

before the event. However they gave her a written paper of what to say; it was way off from any truth....she refused to give it as she said, "This isn't

how it happened this is not my story. So there you have it, change and beef up the story so it looks interesting and encouraging to keep people biting...

little white lies are ok. In this case it was a big one.

    Cheers

My mom once had a witness friend who had a persistant vaginal infection. Since it kept recurring, my mom told her it must be the demons.

Could it be that this demon was made by abusitive JW leaders?

The JW leaders does not know the difference between a demon(mostly good but temperary) and a devil. Voodoo ist just another pagan religion they are afraid of.

This is one of my favorite subjects. JW tales from the crypt! I think that my favorite story was one that circulated about 5 years ago. It supposedly happened in the Central Illinois area. There was a sister and her friend who bought a large box of books at a yard sale. She gets home and goes through the books and lo and behold a witchcraft book! The Evils! So she opens it and begins to read it, instead of the prescibed burning of it. So She got possesed and ran naked onto the interstate and got hit by a truck. Moral of the story? Burn yard sale witch craft books!

Of course the alternative story I heard was that she was an Elder's wife who was scitzophrenic (I don't think I spelled that right) but he didn't want her to go to a secular psyciatrist. I feel sorry for her.

This is the same sort of crap as we see in the Booklet "Wicked Spirits".

There is a case cited ( guess where?) in which 12 members of a womans fambly were killed by demons!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!

No evidence. no proof. No source mentioned. Why should I believe this?

Because the Gibbering Buddy Say So.

Does anybody really believe that the police in ANY land would accept "killed by demunz" on a death certificate.

I eventually found out it was a woman who was a severely schizophrenic, who was smothering people in her sleep.

I hesitate to mention where these events are purported to happen. It is politically incorrect to pour scorn on traditional voodoo and totemic beliefs.

I heard a story from an African immigrant who said once they (or someone they knew, can't recall) were in service walking up to a door, and a dog actually talked to them and told them to go away.

Those folks had a bunch of good urban-legend style demon stories.

Not gonna lie, I have gone out of my way to read as many novels about vampires as I can since I left the dubs. Slightly retarded when it comes to rebellion I suppose. (oooh Stephenie Meyer, if you haven't read Twilight you should - and Joe Hill - The Heart Shaped Box - brilliant ghost story). So i guess the demons are gonna come give me a bad case of indigestion too.
