Farkle and Friends,
Since the historicity of Jesus Christ is questioned here and his words considered mostly as a subject of humour,I consider it futile to speak using the account of him from some 2000 years ago.
Your statement “Jesus Saves” is in the present tense. I am assuming then, that your words Prove it , which is in the imperative commanding tense, imply that you are demanding proof from the present age.
Rather than providing a lengthy discourse I will provide two quotations.
1. At about the same time he was searching through the Gita, a Christian friend persuaded Gandhi to read the Bible. The Old Testament set him dozing, but the New Testament, particularly Christ's Sermon on the Mount, evoked a spiritual recognition. "'"Whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man take away thy coat let him have thy cloak too." The seeds of Gandhi's philosophy of renunciation and nonviolence were thus planted almost simultaneously by sacred Hindu and Christian texts.

2. A reported conversation between the Hindu leader Mohandas K. Gandhi and the former British Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin:Lord Irwin asked Gandhi what he thought would solve the problems between Great Britain and India. Gandhi picked up a Bible and opened it to the fifth chapter of Matthew and said: "When your country and mine shall get together on the teachings laid down by Christ in this Sermon on the Mount, we shall have solved the problems not only of our countries but those of the whole world."
So,
Gandhi, using the teachings of the Gita and the Sermon on the mount, formulated and followed passive, non-violent resistance and delivered, "saved," India from the oppressive domination of the British Empire. He moved mountains.
Grace Gough has expressed in her post that through the grace of God, she was saved from oppressiveness of Watchtower.
I, too, some forty years ago, was saved, delivered, from the dark, black hole of depression under Pappy Knorr’s oppressive dominion and led into the light not by WT publications, but by following the words and ways of the Man who walked the earth long ago.

If jesus saves me, my question is, from what he saves me? Did he saved med from stupid JW lessons and people? Did he saved me from my bad father who raped me?
NO!
I saved myself by my own actions!!!
So i don't believe that he can save any person!!!

belbab,

It's others who commonly use the expression "Jesus Saves." I just parroted it. Of course I meant the present tense. Otherwise it would be "Jesus used to save, but doesn' t anymore." And yes, I am asking for proof from the present age. If Jesus saves presently, then there should be some proof.
Your comment about Gandhi opening up the Bible to Matt. 7 really does show what a great man Ganghi was and also shows that the words to guide our lives in happiness can be found in Matt. chapters 5-7 and the synoptic Gospel equivalents. I don't have any problem with those words. Similar words are found in all major religions, however. It is with much of the other thousand or so pages of the Bible that I do have a problem.
Anyway, while presenting a very nice and inspiring story and while showing how people such as you and our dear Grace have benefited in your lives by being Christians, you've not offered any proof that Jesus can or does offer eternal life and salvation for anyone.
Hint: it can't be proven, as it can't be disproven! It's all a matter of faith. I have no problem with faith, either. I do have a problem with all those people who run around spouting Jesus Saves! every chance they get. They should just quit being so vocal, especially at inappropriate times and let Jesus deal with it. Jesus doesn't need any cheerleaders. He can handle things by himself without any help.
