  "The ultra-secretive Bilderberg Group, a consortium of power brokers from banking, business, politics, academia and oil, met in Munich Germany in May 2005 when crude oil prices were around the $40 a barrel mark. During the conference, Henry Kissinger told his fellow attendees that the elite had resolved to ensure that oil prices would double over the course of the next 12-24 months, which is exactly what has happened. During their 2006 meeting in Ottawa Canada, Bilderberg agreed to push for $105 a barrel before the end of 2008. This information was gleaned from sources inside Bilderberg who have proven reliable in the past. Though Bilderberg claim they are merely a talking shop and formulate no policy, they were also responsible for the decision to delay the invasion of Iraq until March 2003 after it was initially intended to take place in late 2002."

  WAC...heres the deal...I know all about the CIA and that when the Shah of Iran was sent into isolation back in the day, the CIA helped restore him to power and that was the beginning of the seeds that culminated in the Iranian overthrow in the 70's... I also know about the deal Reagan cut with the Saudis to buy oil below market which lasted for 25 years until 2005....I also know about "black money" and how it was used in the Middle East to further our interests...So what???? Alex Jones AKA Mr Y2K takes information that is public knowledge and creates sensational headlines to sell his goods. Nothing more, nothing less.

Not sure if u were in da borg but, if u were as most of us were...it was hard to admit certain facts. Maybe you just don't want to believe it, that's cool, I don't either, but for me, there is just too much information.

  WAC I never was a JW...my wife was born in and has been inactive since the time we began dating. My bullshit detector has been fully functional for longer than you have been alive. The comparisons that I draw to the WTS are not for the purposes of an insult, but rather to point out that conspiracy theory proponents and their loyal fanatics approach their craft with the same zeal as JW's do their religion. Both take the ordinary and elevate it to the extraordinary and absurd.

  What was the world like in 1954 when the Bilderberg group held their first meeting? It was 9 years after 55,000,000 people had perished in WWII. It was less than 6 months after the death of Joseph Stalin, the man who according to some accounts was responsible for nearly 20 million of his own peoples death. There had been two world wars in the last 35 years. Nearly all of the Jews had been eliminated from the planet. All industry in the countries that were at war had been converted by the governments to supply the war effort. The Soviet Union was a clear threat in the East, there was uncertainty as to where the world was heading...and a group of mostly European and US influential citizens get together and have a meeting to discuss the future and global issues..... and this is scandalous. Why is that WAC ?

Same thing with ones who exit the borg ... those who have exited have had to invest time and money to fully understand the inner workings of the "controlling groups."   WAC- Hey, Mr. Flipper here. Are the movies Endgame, and Terrorstorm available to rent or purchase on DVD at Blockbuster, or any book or video store ? I have been talking to my son about the Bilderberg group; and I'd like to inform myself more about what is happening behind the scenes here , and research more , before I totally jump off a cliff ! LOL! Just joking.
  
  My son and his girlfriend are wanting to drop out of college over this Planet X, Bilderberg/ Derrick Jensen guy and go live in a trailer in Canada or something, and my wife and I are quite concerned about what is motivating him and his girlfriend to want to do this ! So, I want to read up on this. The question I have about Derrick Jensen is this though - Isn't he a bit extreme talking about blowing up dams and condones violence in rebelling against society ?
