UPDATE - I just re-discovered this old thread and wanted to add that my girlfriend (now fiancée) from the original post and I have been blissfully in love since then and we'll be getting married and buying a house next year. We've got a really special relationship and we're also planning on having kids shortly after the house and wedding are taken care of.
Just thought some of you might enjoy.
