Why Can't People Just Show Appreciation For This Place???

I've been reading a few pages of threads from Saturday until today and I can't understand why some,(actually very few) try to damage this site. This is one of a handful of (ex)jw sites that really helps people get out of the Organization. The interaction that we have here shows anyone how we CAN leave the so- called "Truth" and enjoy life!

Posters who try to spoil it for those that appreciate this place should just go somewhere else. I'll be the first to say that I don't think this place is perfect and I've had my share of gripes here too but it's still the BEST forum to help Jehovah's Witnesses and exjws.

I would like to think that our community is more valuable than not. Over the years that I've been here, I've seen people get it! This site has helped even pro JW apologists to see their errors. It's the best discussion forum on the internet. If the owner ever got sick of this service, I believe many thousands would be adversely affected.

I just want to say, thanks for keeping this place open and welcoming to everyone!

I for one would like to let you know that I truly appreciate this site. It has helped me learn the true nature of the JW (even though I had my suspicions) and deal with my exit and subsequent shunning from my so-called friends and family.

Thanks to this site, I have been able to heal from much damage caused by the JW organization and am slowly but surely helping my own parents see the damage the organization has caused them.

Now that guy should be shot ,there was no cause to post gay porn on this site , I don't care what you say in the threads but posting gay porn is just plain sick . There is a pretty good bunch of people on this board and many have a great sense of humor and appear intelligent enough to have interesting discussions with but we don't need people like that at all .

That is exactly how I feel, and that community is all the people that fellowship here. Not the few self centered jerks that come in and beg for attention, but all the rest. Whether I agree with their politics, or share their race, homeland, or sexual orientation.

I thank you, too. I appreciate it. It's been my lifeline while "drowning" in the WTS.

I hate the fact that others are being inappropriate. I try to ignore those posts.

However, in this site is an amazing bunch of people, and an amazing amount of information, and I'm so glad that it exists!

I even like the fact that it is so monitored. I don't think it's censorship. If you want to say anything...go to another board. This is the personality of the board, and for me it fits.

There is no reason to expose us to that kind of filth on this forum whatsoever , I would agree that there is no reason to post porn but certainly not of the gay porn variety , I think it disgusting that some guy takes it up the bum and don't need to see it when surfing the threads.

I think this is a great site, and I enjoy it greatly. There are a few bad apples, but that holds true everywhere.
