50% of all study articles, and keynote speeches at the assembly are devoted to this "Obedience to the FDS" theme.
I have also noticed the same in reading the watchtower's that are posted on here. Is this a significant change. Have read quite a few posts here that it appears that the assemblies, the WTs and other documentation, including the publications, are going more towards rules and authority and less towards the doctrine, is that a fair assessment?

The reason the R&F accept this is because they feel the end is so near that we must obey the FDS so that we can be saved!
Next weeks study is also unbelievable. Basically saying that if you feel spiritually weak, that it has nothing to do with God. After all, he hasn't changed. LOL. If you are feeling like you want to leave, it's your problem, work on it. It could never be that a person has become disillusioned with the WTS or has changed his mind about god, through life experience. Guilting people is what the WT is very good at. Expert in fact. Terrible.
Infallibility of the Pope FDS. That looks like one more entry for my matrix of WTS copying Rome.

By far the theme used most often in talks is obedience to the FDS. To the point that it loses it's meaning, I think--like a parent maniacally demanding obedience in their children when their own actions are inconsistent.
