Exactly! Same here only very wet. If its guaranteed for the life of the car,....its guaranteed. I've never heard of a rear window leaking from the factory even after 10 to 15 years have you? Why should a windshield? If a company claims perfection after the fact they better live up to it. Bought a beautiful, 1987 280Z all original. What a car....bought it used 2002 with 100k miles for 3 K. It had the T tops with original covers. Leak in Florida it did not! The shine on that long hood and everything about it was to die for. They don't make sports cars like that any more, ....unless you are willing to spend major bucks. I think it cost about $35,000.00 to 40K originally. Sold it in 2005 for about $2000.00 to a collector.......NO LEAKS! Guess I should go back to car forums, I have had some wonderful sports cars..... r.

We had the four windshields replaced, never a leak. FYI, it rains less than ten inches a year here, they might have leaked, if it rained.

..Chips,cracks you name it..I`m getting a Rock Deflector next week..Then a new windshield..Not much point in a new windshield without one of those,around these parts!..............................OUTLAW -

wha happened?
I only plan on keeping it until next Dec. I put about 25k miles a year and that would take me 100k miles. It's a fun little VW GTI which means decent mileage and lots of vroom. Bought it new in Dec 2005
..Chips,cracks you name it..I`m getting a Rock Deflector next week..Then a new windshield..Not much point in a new windshield without one of those,around these parts!..
