Instead of mediating on a book from god, why not meditate on god?
I already meditated on god and found that god is a hoax.
so where are you going from there?

God revealed some of His attributes in nature(power, beauty, humor) but He revealed Himself in the Bible. i could not have known about Jesus, the judgement, redemption or the love of God without the Bible.
without it I could learn to appreciate the power beauty and humor in nature but not learn about God. meditating on the power, beauty, humor and love i possess or you possess wouldn't teach me about God either. at best it only reveals our limited nature. Jesus sheds light on the full spectrum of the supernatural attributes of God.

I think that is rational thinking. Michelle, I also think that some new philosophies tend to promote that we were meant to be gods ourselves and that we can become god. I can't help but wonder if meditation will someday be accompanied by some silent sound thought implants.
