So last night, a sister gies the following comment:
" We should help our bible studies appreciate the privilege that they have to know Jehovah". All of the dubs were nodding their heads and saying ooohhh and ahhhh under their breath
It struck me funny since I would figure that a loving god would not want to consider it a privilege for us to get to know him. Am I way off, or does that sound weird.
Its a definate 10 on the wierd-o-meter. Only a true brainwashed dub would say something like that. God is our heavenly father and his desire is to reveal himself to all of mankind. Why? Because he wants to! Peace.
They still not giving Jesus the honor? Man, they talk less and less about the requirement for Jesus, but they teach He is only for the anointed class.
A privilege to know that Almighty Lowlife Scumbag that only wants me to Himself and will not let me enjoy life or live it the way I want it lived? !
Plus, if God were anything like He said He was, it would be more of a right to know Him, since everyone that had a good motive would be able to. And, as Blondie would say, Where's Jesus?
The JW version of God has enough unique twists to make JW true believers feel special. With the "true believer" glasses firmly in place, that comment didn't sound weird to me at all.

It makes no sense to thinking people. It makes perfect sense to brainwashed cultists.
Jesus is not important to JW's. They claim they have faith in his ransom, but deny partaking of the emblems (except for the "anointed class").
It is a waste of time being a Jehovah's Witness.
Head nods in agreement that it is a privilege that Jehover allows Bible Studies to get to know him...
The Jw's nodding their heads in aggreement is very much like the baptist and pentacostal churches saying Jeeesus, praise the lord and amen.
