I prefer to take people at face value until proven otherwise. I've always used my real name on all the message boards I go to, this is who I am. I'd like to think that the majority of the people I talk to on the net are also who they say they are.
All three of my children have always been mature for their age, and it shows in the way they think and talk. My youngest (16) just got his GED and will start community college next month.
I think Mulan had the guts to post what a lot of us were thinking when we read the cynical posts in response to little red bird. Thanks for standing up for her mom!
It would be a shame if a lurker were discouraged from posting lest he be called a troll. Like Simon said, I'd rather be duped than to hurt an innocent newbie.

I think what people say on this board has a bigger impact than many of us realize - the good and the bad! Besides, remember that Little Bird isn't and never was (and hopefully never will be) a JW. Her boyfriend is. That's why she's on this board. To educate herself.

I have not read the thread as yet....but I can almost predict who was shouting troll.
I like Simon's comments, they reflect a kind and giving spirit.
Like Princess, I applaud your willingness to stand up for someone being abused. Troll or not, it just doesn't matter. Zazu said it right, all poster's will eventually show themselves. No need to get our panties all in a bunch.
